DEBBIE DOES DALLAS ADULT DVD w/ movie trailer and interview with Bambi

LENGTH: 84 minutes
UPC: 722435041167

SYNOPSIS: Staring Bambi Woods, Arcadia Lake, Misty Winter, Robin Byrd, Pat Allure, Paula Head and R. Bolla, Debbie and her young cheerleader friends, portrayed by the freshest new faces on the X-Rated scene, are faced with a delemma: Debbie's vibrant sensuality has earned her a coveted place with the Texas Cowgirl Cheerleaders. A trip to Dallas is expensive however, and college students don't often have that kind of money. As the action moves to the showers, a plan is formed...

The eight dazzling cheerleaders will all go to Dallas and to afford it, they have formed Team Services, an organization dedicated to serving their clients with total satisfaction...for a price. Profits roll in, bit it is Debbie who really saves the day.

The part of Debbie is played by newcomer Bambi Woods, and THIS movie went on to become THE most memorable adult classic ever filmed.

MY THOUGHTS: I really liked this. It was nice to see 'actors' who looked like real people, not Barbie doll wannabes and men who look like they spend every waking moment in the gym. No piercings, no tattoos, no fake hair, no fake breasts, no fake fingernails

The whole film was entertaining to me. It says on the back of the DVD cover that Debbie's in college but that's not true. She's in high school. I assume she's sixteen because a guy in the film is talking about the girls being 'sixteen'.

With most older porn that I've seen there is often lots of time in between sex scenes but not with this film. There's plenty of sex in this and when there isn't sex, there's nudity, mosty female. The acting isn't too bad and I think the men deliver their lines better that the girls.

The funniest line in the whole film to me is where one girl was deep throating a guy in the school library and he says, "Don't choke baby, stay alive". The funniest scene may have been when Debbie was dressed like a Texas Cowgirl and the man, I think he was her boss at a sporting goods store, came out from the back of the store dressed like a football player with his erect penis sticking out through the opening in his pants while he chased her around.

My only complaint is that I can't stand when music plays during sex scenes and music played during all of the scenes in this. And during non sex scenes this annoying marching band music played quite a bit.

This edition is remastered and includes deleted scenes that weren't in the original release. I've never seen the original release so I couldn't tell you what they are.

You can see screenshots of the film here.

This silicone is 100% silicone and is made by a German company called Fun Factory. It's from Fun Factory's line of shorter dildos, called stubs, and this model is called Amor. It comes in the colors Candy Rose, which is what I'm reviewing, and Black.

MATERIAL: Made from pure premium solid silicone, it can be boiled to disinfect it or simply wash with hot soapy water. Silicone is completely hypoallergenic and non porous. You can only use water-based lube with it. Never use silicone lube with silicone toys because the lube will help break down the material in the toy. This silicone feels a bit fuzzy and is slightly flexible. It weighs 6.3 oz.

MEASUREMENTS: The shaft is just under 5 " long. The shaft is just over 1 1/4" in diameter. It's curved for G spot stimulation. It has a flat flared base that will actually stick to a hard, flat surface. I pressed it to the toilet lid and used it that way. Also, with the base being flared, it's very easy to hold on to while using it while it's not suctioned to anything.

MY THOUGHTS: I really like this toy. It's the perfect length for me. I'd have liked for it to have been a bit thicker. I'm looking forward to experimenting with my G spot with it a bit more. This would be the perfect first-time dildo for someone who has never tried one and has no idea what size to get. The size is not intimating at all.

It comes with a little packet of lube but I don't recommend using it because it contains glycerin. Glycerin is sugar alcohol and has been shown to help cause irritation and yeast infections in women. So use a water-based lube that's glycerin-free.

This toy came to me from Eden Fantasys. It's called Rock Star Stevie. It's made by a company called Doc Johnson that has been around since 1976. This toy is from their line of G spot vibrators.

MATERIAL: The shaft is made from flexable hollow silicone. The bottom part, starting with the silver ring, is made from ABS, a type of body-safe plastic. This is completely waterproof and very easy to wash clean. Both silicone and plastic are nonporous and hypoallergenic.

MEASUREMENTS: This has an insertable length of 6". The tip is about 1 1/2" in diameter. With batteries inserted, it weighs 4.3 oz.

MY THOUGHTS:  The vibrations are controlled by turning the bottom of the round base. The vibrations do reach to the tip. I think this should have been rounded more at the tip. While moving it in and out I was aware that the tip was a bit flat and it wasn't as comfortable as it could have been.

I didn't have any luck finding my G spot with it but will experiment more. I turned it up pretty high and held it in place where I thought my G spot would be and had a clitoral orgasm. I think the vibrator being in place while having an orgasm that way often makes for an intense one.

This toy also comes in the color Sea Foam. They have many more sex toys so there's plenty to choose from.

SATAN'S MISTRESS by Rachel Cosgrove Payes with Author Photos

PUBLISHER: Playboy Paperbacks, March 1981
SETTING: England, 1753
HEROINE: Fiona McQuade
HERO: Will Huxley

FROM PUBLISHER: With dizzying speed, beautiful Fiona McQuade went from shopgirl to protégé of a duke and duchess. Dazzled by the luxurious living, Fiona forgot her lowly origins and even dreamed of marrying Viscount Will Huxley, the duchess's handsome lover. But of course the arrogant duke and duchess had other plans for the lovely Fiona. They all were members of the dreaded Hellfire Club: jaded nobility who satiated their decadent desires on the young and innocent. And so the unawakened Fiona was ravished by many men, the handsome Will Huxley among them. She had been sold into sexual slavery, and Fiona vowed they all would pay, even the man she loved.

SUMMARY: Sixteen-year old Fiona McQuade came from Edinburgh. She is a shop assistant at her aunt Eulalia's 'exclusive' millinery shop. Fiona lives above the shop. She's running across the street in the rain to get back to the shop when she was almost run down by a carriage. Will Huxley saved her by pulling her out of the way. Will and his married mistress Sarah came into the shop to pick up Sarah's hats. Sarah likes Fiona's work and hires her on the spot to be her wardrobe maid. She goes to live with Sarah and her husband.

Sarah tells Fiona that she needs to get married so throws a party to introduce her to Sarah's friends. Fiona is attracted to Will. He danced with Fiona and Sarah caught him with his hands on her breast. Sarah plans for Fiona to go to a picnic with Thornton Werington, whom Fiona met at the party the night before. Medmenham Abbey is where they are to picnic and attend a masquerade ball. Before the picnic, a maid that Fiona works with tells her that Sarah's husband is a member of the Hell-Fire Club and that they kidnap virgins and rape them.

Inside there are people wearing costumes. Two women that are dressed like nuns come up to Fiona and Thorton and have Fiona follow them. They tell her to strip down and put on a habit too and give her drugged wine, which she doesn't know is drugged. They lead her into a chapel where there were monks. They laid her on the altar, opened up her robe, spread her legs for her and allowed the men to have their way with her. They didn't know they were raping her because she wasn't protesting. They always have sex with someone, so they think she's there willingly. She doesn't protest either because she's drugged out of her mind. As Will Huxley was about to rape her, the drug started wearing off and she did start to protest and claw at his face but he raped her anyway. Then she passed out.

The next morning, Sarah and her husband got on her case about being at the 'orgy.' Fiona told them she knew they'd arranged it. She packed her things and snuck out of the house. She went back to her aunt's shop to work. Sarah went there and asked about Fiona. The aunt said shw worked there. Sarah said if Fiona continued to work there, Sarah would take her business elsewhere and tell her friends not to shop there. Fiona got a new job. Sarah found out about it and told Fiona's boss that she is a slut who consorts with members of the Hell-Fire Club.

When Fiona found that job, Thorton Werington helped her move into her new place above a greengrocers. When Fiona got fired from her current job, she ran into him again while leaving the shop. He told her he'd get her a room at an inn. She was to become his mistress and he moved her into his home. Once in bed, Thorton wanted to have sex with her but she told him she was tired and he punched her in the jaw. The next day as she was tying his tie, he kept pinching her breasts.

Fiona wanted to know more about Will Huxley. Thor told her he wanted to take her back to the abbey, but not for sex. In hopes of finding out more about Will, who goes to the abbey, Fiona agrees to go. She plans to get revenge on him, Sarah and her husband.

Length: 153 minutes
Studio: Vivid Entertainment
Produced: 2008
Rating: XXX
My Grade: C

This DVD is comprised of five vignettes, each chosen by the actresses who star in them. At the beginning of each story, the actors tell why they like rough sex.

Adrianna: Breaking and Entering- Adrianna is a blonde with natural breasts and tattoos. She came up with the idea to have a man break in and rape her. The only problem is that what went on sexually likely would never have happened. She used a vibrator on herself while being 'raped'. I'm not sure if she was supposed to be into the rape or what but I think it was a bad idea to involve a toy in this scenario. Also, at the beginning when she was drying off after showering, she turned her butt to the camera and had a dildo in. Really? We're supposed to believe she showered with that in? That just didn't make any sense to me, nor did the reverse cowgirl position. All the sex took place in bed.

Satine: Stranded- Satine is hispanic and has natural breasts. She came up with the idea to be stranded in the middle of nowhere in a broken-down jeep. Derrick (white with a shaved head and huge tattoo covering his left side) came along and offered to stay with her while she waited for someone to pick her up.

I had trouble with this storyline because of all the slapping that went on the whole time. Satine's body was covered in handprints and red marks. At the beginning of the story, before Derrick arrives, they show her pee while crouched on a rock. All the sex took place in her jeep, on the jeep and leaning against it.

Francesca: Taking Over- Francesca is hispanic with breast implants and a piercing on her labia. She's supposed to be a housewife who's fed up with her overworked husband, Christian, who's white with a shaved head. She ends up taking control of him and dominating him in the bedroom. Francesca was way too agressive and frantic. There was lots of her spitting on him, which I didn't like at all, especially when she kept spitting in his mouth. All sex took place in bed.

Marie: Caught- Marie is a black woman with natural breasts. She gets into an argument with her black boyfriend over her cheating and they have great make up sex. All sex takes place in their bedroom, mostly in bed.

Sasha: Switched- Sasha is a brunette with natural breasts. She and Danny have a real meeting while shooting pool to discuss what they do and don't like while having rough sex. There's lots of spitting on each other and in mouths, which I don't like at all. Most of the sex takes place on the pool table.

MY THOUGHTS: What I find so odd is that there was no oral sex done on any of the women. I've never not seen that in porn. I didn't enjoy all the slapping and spitting that went on. I wasn't expecting this to be quite so degrading. I was thinking it would be rough, in a playful sort of way, not gross. I was disappointed with it.

There are some extras on the dvd, including sneek peeks at some other 'instructional' dvd's by the same female director. I found those to be more interesting and entertaining than the feature film itself. It was funny to see porn star Penny Flame in them because I know her from VH1's Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew.

You can see photos of the actors in this film here.

This thick dildo is called Cush. It's made by a company called Tantus. I'm reviewing the color called Twilight.

MATERIAL: This is made from Tantus' O2 line of dildos. It's made from premium silicone. It's very squishy and bendable. The inner layer is solid and firm silicone while the outside is made from a silicone blend they call SuperSoft™. It's very cool to the touch but warms up easily. It has a thick ridge that's designed to stimulate your G spot but I never felt any G spot stimulation from it.

You can only use water-based lube with silicone toys. Never use silicone lube with silicone toys because it will help break down the material. This is a very high quality toy.

MEASUREMENTS: The shaft measures 7". This has a diameter of 1 3/4", which is pretty thick. You'll definitely need lube with this one.

COLOR: This color is called Twilight but the photo doesn't show just how beautiful the coloring is. This is a mixture of opal and dark purple swirls. The flat bottom base is solid purple.

THE VERDICT: This is the most unique looking toy I've ever seen. It feels amazing to the touch, smooth and rubbery and bendable and it's just nice to look at. The only problem is that it's incredibly thick. It was difficut to insert, even with lube, but once it was in, it was fine. Because of that, it won't be my go-to toy but I will definitely enjoy using it. I can only hope that they make it in smaller sizes.

I received this from Babeland in exchange for an honest opinion.

BabeLube is Babeland's own brand of gel lubrication. It comes in four sizes plus a little sample-sized packet. It's water-based, water-soluble, paraben-free, glycerin-free and best of all, it's hypoallergenic. The two largest sizes come in a pump bottle, which I like better than a tube. This is also safe to use with any type of toy, no matter the material, since it's water-based.

I didn't have any problem with it drying out while using with a toy. A plus is that it doesn't have much of a smell.

Babeland has a pretty good selection of lubes and condoms so if BabeLube doesn't interest you, they should have something that's to your liking. And take advantage of their free shipping when you spend $50 or more.

JOHN HOLMES: A LIFE MEASURED IN INCHES by Jennifer Sugar and Jill C. Nelson

PUBLISHER: BearManor Media, 8/2008
GENRE: Nonfiction/Biography

FROM PUBLISHER: Most people might, understandably, predict that the world's first porn star was a woman, but they would be wrong. John Curtis Holmes was just a simple country boy from Ohio when he moved to California in 1964. It was the infancy of hardcore, so in Holmes' wildest dreams, he could not have predicted the turbulent ride on which he had embarked by publicizing his private parts. With the fame he achieved by playing his most famous character - a gun toting detective named Johnny Wadd - came money.

Holmes was pleased to spend it on his wife and mistresses, but soon was in over his head after he became addicted to cocaine. Unfortunately for Holmes, in the years that followed, his addiction led him into several desperate choices - including setting up a robbery at the home of Ed Nash, a powerful L.A. nightclub owner. The robbery resulted in one of the most gruesome, unsolved, multiple-murders in Hollywood history. Amazingly, before his untimely death in 1988, Holmes regained his momentum, remarried and rebuilt his life and career. However, the grave consequences of his addiction, his association with the Wonderland murders, and his AIDS-related death made him an infamous figure in pop culture. Digging past the stigmas, John Holmes: A Life Measured in Inches - the first biography about John C. Holmes - unearths the human being behind the penis and proves that there was more to him than could be measured in inches.

This biography includes material from the authors' new interviews with: Laurie Holmes, Bill Amerson, Bob Chinn, Julia St. Vincent, Detective Tom Lange, Detective Frank Tomlinson, Paul Thomas, Ron Jeremy, Seka, Marilyn Chambers, Candida Royalle, Rhonda Jo Petty, Dr. Sharon Mitchell, Bill Margold, and many others! Also included is additional source material containing extensive interviews with: Sharon Holmes, Dawn Schiller, Dr. Vonda Pelto, Ph.D., and L.A. Times film critic, Kenneth Turan. With 114 reviews of John's most notable feature films, 86 loops synopses, 3 photos sections with rare nudes, and a 21 page comprehensive filmography.

MY THOUGHTS: This is a large, heavy paperback that is almost 600 pages long and weighs about 1 1/2 pounds. It contains many black and white photographs of John and his co-workers along with a lot of photos that were taken from his adult films. There are a couple nudes of just John by himself with his 'member' on full display.

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was well put together. I didn't know much of him before reading this, except that he was a porn star, famous because of the size of his penis (there are more than a few photos of it in this book), and that he'd died from an AIDS related illness. The highlight of the book was hearing from his ex-wife, Sharon. I'd been curious about her since hearing of her in another book and was more than delighted that this book included many, many excerpts that she'd given to others in the past. My second favorite part was reading all the interviews from people who knew him, including other porn actors, some of which I've seen in action before or had heard of.

This was really just a sad story of a sex addicted man (a real whoremonger) who later became addicted to drugs. What some think may have caused him to get HIV is having sex with a male porn actor who died from AIDS three years later, which was the same year, 1986, that John was diagnosed with HIV. Personally, I think that if John had sex with a gay man on-screen, for pay, what in the world makes people think he wasn't doing it in private off-screen? I feel he was bi-sexual and wasn't comfortable with it, at least with people knowing about it, so he didn't let anyone know, including the people he was close to. So really, if indeed he did have sex with other gay men, he could have contracted HIV from any one of them.

My two complaints about this book is that I'd like to have heard from his mother and siblings about what they thought of him becoming an adult actor and I wanted to hear more about his abusive childhood. It was only mentioned that he had an abusive step-father. But most off all, I really wanted/want to know more about something that a man named Mike Sager said. He wrote an article about John in Rolling Stone magazine in 1988 though he'd never met John. Here's the quote from Mike that is in the book, "The main explanation was- he wasn't gay, but he did at a time, make money for sex- there were wealthy men that would pay to be with him." I want to know more about that. Who are these men and who knew about them? Have any of them ever been interviewed anywhere?

At the front of the book is a list of some of the people who were interviewed for the book or had been interviewed about John for other films and book publications. That is very handy. I have that section marked with a tab so I can filp to it faster when I need to. Pages 437-581 is a detailed filmography of John's adult films and there are some photos, some with nudity, throughout that section. I really like that the authors thought to add a filmography. It was a nice, helpful touch that I appreciate.

To read more, please visit the author's website. There you'll find photos, some of which weren't in the book and can only be found online.

Edit- The second edition was published in 2011 and is updated with new info and more photos.

GENRE: Fiction/Historical Romance
SETTING: New York/Paris, 1890

FROM PUBLISHER: Estranged from society, wealthy and beautiful artist Sofie O'Neil finds solace in her private world. She longs just once to taste a forbidden love, —to follow the dangerous diamond smuggler Edward Delanza to paradise. But Edward wants far more from the innocent young heiress than a brief and passing encounter. For he is determined to heal her and possess her —now . . . and for all time.

HEROINE: Sofie O'Neil, 20, born May 1881. 'Tawny-golden' hair, amber eyes. Sofie is an only child.

HERO:  Edward Delanza, around 23, from California. Black hair, blue eyes, tan skin. Edward is the youngest of three sons. His middle brother is Slade and oldest brother is James.

PROLOGUE- New York City, 1890. Sofie is nine years old and her mother Suzanne is calling for her inside the house. She finds her and sees a drawing of Sofie's father laying at her feet. Suzanne picks it up and yells at Sofie to stop drawing pictures of her father, Jake. She tells Sofie that Jake isn't coming home, Sofie tells her he is, Suzanne says he isn't, Sofie is upset, runs and falls down the stairs, hurting her ankle. The housekeeper came over to her and Sofie lied and told her she was fine. Suzanne was watching from the top of the staircase and said, "If she is hurt, it is her own fault." She'll walk with a limp the rest of her life and be labeled a 'cripple' by everyone, including her own nasty, hateful, jealous mother.

Chapter one begins in Newport Beach, 1901 at a party Sofie's mother Suzanne Ralston is having. It's summer and Sofie has recently turned 20. Her mother Suzanne is 36. The guests are all staying at the Ralston's beach house. Suzanne convinced Sofie to come to the party. Sofie is out on the beach with her sketchbook to do a little sketching. She see's a handsome man walking along the beach with his shirt unbuttoned. She begins to sketch him and hears a woman's voice call out to him. It's her mothers widowed friend Hilary. She's talking to Edward about wanting to have sex with him but he doesn't want to do it in the sand when they could do it in a soft bed later. Hilary unbuttons her jacket revealing her bare breasts. Sofie is shocked. Edward thought he saw a flash of movement then spotted Sofie crouched down watching. The thought of being watched by her excited him, so he and Hilary had sex right there in the sand in broad daylight. Sofie fled, accidentally leaving her sketchbook behind. Edward was disgusted with himself for what he'd done. He never lets her know that he saw her. Sofie arrives back to the house. Hilary's cousin Henry Marten is asking Suzanne if he could be introduced to Sofie, whom he's just seen walking outside. Suzanne doesn't want Henry to be interested in Sofie so she tells him her daughter has a 'dreadful limp' and is a 'cripple' and has 'never had a suitor.' Sofie walks in and sees them. Suzanne knows that it's frowned upon for women to be artists and that people think Sofie is eccentric and reclusive. She doesn't want Henry to be interested in Sofie so she proudly tells him Sofie is an artist and studies art at the academy. She tells Sofie to tell them what she's drawn today and Sofie realizes she's left her sketchbook behind.

Later that day, Sofie is telling her stepsister Lisa, 17, that she must have left her sketchbook at the beach and has Lisa go look for it. She told her that she sketched a man named Edward at the beach. Lisa said it must have been Edward Delanza and that he was a guest at their house. All the ladies at the house think Edward is attractive and dangerous because it's rumored that he smuggles diamonds and gems out of Africa. That isn't true. Sofie is scared to death that she'll see Edward at the house. She doesn't know that he saw her at the beach but doesn't want to have to face him after what she's seen. Later on, Edward is in his room. He looks over to an open sketchbook...Sofie's sketchbook, laying open on a chair. He doesn't know who Sofie is or what her name is but assumes she's a guest at Suzanne's.

He went downstairs and saw her right away standing alone. They made eye contact. Hilary and a friend came up to Edward and began talking. He asked them who the girl in the corner was and was told she was Sofie, daughter of their hostess Suzanne. He walked over to her and introduced himself then kissed her hand. He asked her if she was going to spend the rest of the summer there and she told him no, she had art classes to attend in the city and that she and her classmates are devoted to their art. He told her one day a handsome man would earn some of her devotion. She told him that she intended to earn a living by selling her art and that if she did wed, a husband probably wouldn't allow her to earn a living. He asked if she planned to marry one day and she said no. He asked her if she dressed the way she did, in ugly gray gowns with her hair pulled back, and hid her beauty was to turn away unwanted suitors. She said she had no beauty to hide.

Suzanne called everyone in to dinner. She'd been watching Sofie and Edward talk and didn't like it. Suzanne thinks Edward is just like Sofie's dead father and wants Edward far away from her. After dinner, nasty old Suzanne told Sofie to say away from Edward and insulted her by saying that she was 'neither rich nor beautiful' and she shouldn't 'encourage' him. Suzanne left Sofie sitting in a chair. Sofie's ankle hurt from doing so much walking that day so when she stood up, she gasped at the pain. People looked her way, then looked away in embarrassment. Edward rushed over to Sofie and asked if she was ok. He doesn't know that she walks with a limp yet and she's scared of him finding out. She told him she was a 'cripple' and hurt her ankle years before and it didn't heal right. He removed her special shoe and began massaging her ankle. Suzanne was horrified that he'd do that and went over to them. She told him she wanted to see him tomorrow morning. When he left, she yelled at Sofie, told her Edward was just like her 'goddamed, rotten father, that miserable Irish bastard" and that Edward would use her like she had been used. Sofie spent the rest of the night in her room drawing him.

While Suzanne was waiting for Edward the next morning, she was remembering when she'd met Jake. He died (no he didn't) eleven years ago. He'd left all of his money and assets to Sofie, one million dollars worth and not a penny to Suzanne. She'd met him in NYC in 1880 when she was 15. He's an Irish immigrant who came here after his mom and sister died in a fire set by British soldiers in Ireland. He was about 18 when he met Suzanne. One day in 1880, Suzanne rode her horse to where Jake was doing construction work. She'd seen him there several times before while out with her friends. She though he was attractive. So one day she went to see him. He saw her watching him and went up to her. He asked who she was and asked if she was going to meet him somewhere. She nodded yes. He gave her a key to his place and directions. She went inside and was disgusted at his place. It was run down and shabby. Suzanne came from wealth herself. Jake got there and took his clothes off and it went from there.

Back to the present, Edward went to see Suzanne. She asked him what his interest in Sofie was and told him he was trying to bed her. He said that wasn't true and Suzanne asked him to leave her home so he did. While Edward was waiting in the driveway for the carriage to take him away, he told himself he'd make a point of seeing Sofie again. When Sofie found out that Edward was gone, she was very sad and disappointed. She'd enjoyed him flirting with her.

When Sofie had been home for over a week Edward came to see her. Her parents and Lisa were still at the beach house. She asked him why he was there and he replied, "You need me Sofie. You need shaking up. Badly." Right before he kissed her he said, "I'm going to shake you up Sofie." He barely kissed her then pulled away and said, "Jesus!" He apologized then asked if they were still friends. She asked him to pose for a painting for her and he said yes, then left. As he was leaving the Ralston mansion, Sofie's father Jake was watching Edward. He'd stood outside the house all day hoping to see her.

When Edward was picking his mail up at the Savoy hotel where he was staying, a man, who was Jake, bumped into him on purpose, making him drop his mail. Edward thought the man looked 15 years older than himself. Jake is 38 so Edward is about 23 though his exact age is never given.

Jake is in his mansion. He now goes by the name Jake Ryan, not Jake O'Neil. Eleven years ago, he and his friend escaped prison and were in a shootout with police. The friend was shot and killed and the building burned down. Jake switched nametags with the friend, stealing his idenity. The dead man's name tag said Jake O'Neil so everyone believed he was dead. Two weeks later, Suzanne married Benjamin Ralston who had a daughter named Lisa. Now Jake is a successful businessman who's made a fortune in construction.

Edward went to Sofie's to pick up the artwork she said she'd do for him. She wasn't at home but was outside in a bad part of town painting. He told her the painting she was working on was 'powerful' and to never tell him she is eccentric again because she's not; she's 'extraordinary.' He wanted to see more of her work so they went to her studio inside the Ralston mansion. He saw a portrait of a man and recognized him as the man who'd bumpted into him in the hotel lobby. He asked Sofie who he was and she said it was her father Jake. Jake fled Ireland because he blew up a British army camp. Not long after that, he met and married Suzanne. When Sofie was six, Jake and Suzanne were at a party. A retired English military officer recognized Jake and he was put into prison in Great Britian less than a year later for his crime in Ireland. After being in prison for two years, that's when he and the other man escaped and Jake stole his idenity.

They continued to look at her artwork. One painting of flowers, she said Suzanne had said they didn't resemble flowers and that a five year old could have painted it. He saw the painting she'd done for him; it was a portrait of himself. He told her he wasn't a 'goddamn hero.' He kissed her. She asked him what his intentions were. He said to be a friend, a good friend, one she wouldn't forget. Sofie and Edward ate at a resturant and discussed the possibility of her selling her artwork. She asked him if he'd pose for her.

Back at Newport Beach, Suzanne told Benjamin that she was going to have Sofie come back. The reason for that was she knew that he was back in NYC. Benjamin came to Suzanne's bed that night to have sex. As Suzanne often does, she pretends it's Jake with her, not her husband. When it was over and Benjamin was sleeping, Suzanne was crying, thinking about the last time she saw Jake. It was in prison in 1888.

She was escorted into his cell. Right away, he asked where Sofie was and asked why she didn't bring her when she knew she was supposed to. Suzanne began yelling at him saying, "What about me? What about me, you bastard? What about me?" She was remembering the first years of their marriage and all the affairs she'd had. They argued in his cell and he told her to leave and to bring Sofie to see him. He told her if she didn't bring her to see him today, he'd find a way to get back at her from prison. "Always Sofie! I do hate you Jake, I do!" She didn't bring Sofie to see him. And that night, she cheated on him again.

Back to the present again, she's still in bed next to a sleeping Benjamin. She thinking about how she spends some of Sofie's trust fund money on herself without Sofie's knowledge. She's embezzled a couple thousand dollars from Sofie too and has it in her own private bank account. Sofie is to receive quarterly installments of her money beginning on her 21st birthday with the last payment being given on her 25th birthday. If she marries before she's 25, she receives it all at once. Suzanne decides to check up on Sofie herself.

Without Sofie knowing it, Edward arranged for an art dealer to view her work. He drove his car to Sofie's to pose for her and give her the good news. While painting his portrait, things got a little heavy. Sofie ended up on his lap kissing him and he even touched her 'intimately.' The art dealer came over and bought some of the paintings, including the one of Edward titled 'A Gentleman At Newport Beach.' After the dealer left, Suzanne showed up while Edward as still there. She was furious and made him leave, since it was her home. She suspects that something is going on between them and asks her if she's still a virgin. Sofie tells her she's too old to be asked personal questions like that. Later Sofie is in her room talking with Lisa. Lisa asks her if she's in love with Edward and she says that she is.

Sofie was very upset from aruging with Suzanne and by Lisa telling her to say away from Edward so she went to the Savoy hotel to see Edward. She knocked on his door. He opened it and was shocked to see her there. He told her to wait there while he put a jacket on. They went for a drive in his car. They'd been driving for an hour and stopped at an inn to eat. A bad storm was coming. The inn owner came over to their table while they were eating to tell them that he'd just heard the storm was going to be terrible and that they should stay there. It'd be too dangerous to travel. They had separate rooms. Sofie, wearing just her nightgown, that the owners daugher loaned her, knocked on Edwards door. She was surprised he hadn't come to her door since she thought he was out to seduce her. They had sex three times that night. Edward asked her to marry him, since he felt very guilty. Sofie told him no, she couldn't marry without love. Edwards car was destroyed in the storm so they took a carriage home. Sofie went up to her room and Suzanne came in. Sofie asked Suzanne what she'd do if she was pregnant. Suzanne said she could go away to have it and give it up for adoption.

Suzanne went to the opera by herself. She saw a man who looked like Jake. He saw her too and hurried out. She followed him outside and saw him talking with a young girl, his mistress Lou Anne. She could see that it was indeed Jake. She called his name when he was alone but he ignored her. She caught up to him. She told him everyone thought he was dead, that there was evidence of it. They argued and she realized she was now married to two men. He asked how Sofie was. He said he comes to town every few years to see her. Suzanne was jealous of that, that he'd come to catch a glimse of Sofie but not let Suzanne know he was alive, and began hitting him and told him she hated him.

November 1901, Sofie is in Paris with a chaperone because she is now three months pregnant. She's going there to not only have the baby so that no one who knows her will know about it and also to study art. The plan is for Sofie to get a new French chaperone so that the current one will return home to NYC without knowing she's pregnant. She gets settled in. Back in NY, it's now Christmas eve. Edward has no idea she's pregnant and hasn't seen her since the day he brought her home after the storm. He stops by to speak with her but is told by Suzanne that she's in Paris. While in France, Sofie has met up with her old art teacher and has made lots of friends.

It's now May 1902, Sofie has just turned 21. She writes Edward a letter telling him she's pregnant and the baby is due at the end of June. Edward is back in Africa digging for diamonds. He goes into his hotel room and finds the letter from Sofie there that she'd sent three months before. Two months later, in October, he's banging on her door in Paris. She's not home and her friend Georges, who is on his way to visit with Sofie, recognizes Edward from Sofie's paintings. He says Sofie may be at a saloon called Zut where they all hang out. He takes Edward there. Edward is as mad as hell and tells Sofie to take him to see their child. The baby's name is Edana, after Edward, and her middle name is Jacqueline, after her father Jake. They got to Sofie's shabby apartment and he asked her when she wanted to get married. She told him she wasn't getting married because of Edana. He said he'd be back to discuss it. Sofie told her nanny and companion Rachelle that they were going home to New York City that night....without telling Edward.

New York City, November, 1902. Sofie, Edana and Rachelle have arrived at her parents house. The servants let her in and she introduces them to her baby. She's in her old room nursing Edana when Suzanne bursts in. It's been over a year since she's seen her. She's yelling asking Sofie why she's there and saying 'how could you' show up here with a baby. She asked if she wanted to meet her grandchild and Suzanne yells "No!" Suzanne tells Sofie that she's picked out a couple who want to adopt the baby. Sofie yells "No!", tells her to "get out" and throws a candlestick at her mother, then yells again, "get out!" Sofie, the baby and Rachelle left to say at a hotel. They were almost out of money because Sofie didn't have time to get her money out of the bank before they left France. Sofie was scared Suzanne would try to withhold her trust money from her so she contacted Henry Marten and told him everything. He told Sofie that he wanted to marry her back when he'd met her at the party but Suzanne had discouraged it. He asked Sofie if she'd marry him and she said she'd think about it. Edward arrived back in NY and went to Sofie's house. Suzanne lied and told him Sofie was visiting relatives in Boston. He didn't belive her.

Sofie's stepsister Lisa was having an engagement party. Sofie went with Henry. Jake was there too. Suzanne told Jake that Sofie had a baby and that Edward was the father. Jake said he'd make him marry her. Sofie saw Jake but didn't know who he was. Edward was there. He found Sofie and made her take him to see Edana. When he saw the place they were staying in, he moved the three of them into his suite at the Savoy and got himself another room. The next morning, Edward let himself into the room and had Rachelle take Edana out so he could be alone with Sofie. She was angry that he'd let himself in. They argued then had sex. He was mad because he thought she wanted to marry Henry Marten, and not him. When Edward went back to his room, Jake attacked him from behind. Jake said he was Sofie's father and that he was going to marry her. Edward told him he did want to marry her but she wouldn't marry him.

Suzanne went to visit Jake at his mansion. She'd gone to see him before but was always told he wasn't at home. He let her in and she told him about falling out with Sofie, they argued and then had sex. That was the first time Suzanne had cheated on her husband Benjamin but she'd cheated on Jake a lot.

Edward went to see Sofie. He wanted to force her to marry him, so he told her he was going to let everyone know they had a child together. She said he didn't need to do that, that she would marry him. She went to tell Henry she couldn't marry him.

An exhibition was going to be held for Sofie in an art gallery. She had done a nude painting of Edward without his knowledge and it was being hung up. She wouldn't allow it to be shown so had them take it down. She told the dealer he could show it privately. He asked what the painting was called. She looked into Edwards blue eyes and said it was called After Innocence. Everyone arrived at the gallery. Suzanne saw Jake there. She told him she wanted him back. He told her no. She said, "I did it once-I'll do it again!" He asked what she was talking about. She told him that 15 years before when he'd been spotted at that party, then imprisoned, it was due to her. She alerted the authorities. For the first time in their disfunctional marriage, Jake had cheated on Suzanne with a 'dance hall girl' and it made Suzanne, who'd cheated on him plenty, she got back at him and had him arrested for blowing up the army camp when he was a teenager in Ireland. She said to him, "You stupid fool! It was me! I turned you in then- and I'll turn you in again! I will! Take me back Jake!" He ran out the door.

The exhibition was a success but the nude of Edward didn't sell. That night in Sofie's hotel room, Edward told her he loved her, that he'd always loved her. The wedding will be in a month so that Edward's family in California will have time to arrive. Edward went to Jakes house and called him a coward for not letting Sofie know he's alive. As he was leaving, he told him the date, time and place of the wedding. Sofie went home and made up with her mother. Why, I don't know.

Wedding day, January 1, 1903. Edward see's Jake in the chruch and makes him go see Sofie before the wedding. They reunite and she asks Edward if they can postpone their honeymoon for a few weeks so she can visit with her father.

New York City, current day, 1993.

Sofie and Edward's granddaughter Mara Delanza is at an art auction where the elusive painting AFTER INNOCENCE, the nude painting of Edward, is going to be sold. She's hoping to see it. A blonde woman buys the portrait for 5 million dollars. When the auction is over, Mara chases after the woman, calling out to her. The lady stops, looks at her, then continues to walk away very fast. We never learn who the woman is.

Sofie and Edward both died in 1972, six months apart, in their 90s.

Sofie's stepsister Lisa has her own short story in two anthologies, FIVE GOLDEN RINGS and A GIFT OF JOY.

Edwards older brother Slade, who came to his wedding with his pregnant wife Regina Bragg Shelton Delanza and their son have their own book, SECRETS, which came before this one. In that one, you'll get to read about Edwards nasty mother.

This unique toy is called Toyfriend Rocket Curvy Yellow and is from their line of silicone vibrators. Toyfriend toys are made by a Swedish company called Tickler.

MATERIAL: This is made from high quality silicone and is waterproof. This is a hard 'soft coat' silicone. It's not flexable at all. Silicone is completely hypoallergenic, nontoxic and body-safe. Use water-based lube with it.

MEASURMENTS: This has an overall length of 6" with 5" being insertable. The tip is very narrow, measuring about 1 1/8" in diameter. It's about 1 1/2" in diameter at its thickest. With two batteries inside it weighs about 7 oz.

SPEEDS: This has two vibrating speeds, which I call low and high and two pulsation speeds, which I also call low and high. Those pulsations are jerky and very different. I like the steady high speed and the fastest pulsation best. The smaller tip works well on the clit. Two AAA batteries are included. They should last about four hours. It's controlled by a push-button on the bottom. Once you turn it on, the only way to turn it off is to unscrew the base, which is a bit of an inconvience.

THE VERDICT: If you position yourself right in a comfortable chair, you can use this internally hands-free like I do. I didn't have any G spot luck with this but will have to experiment more with it in the future. I think it should have been curved a bit more but I'm still happy with it.

This Toyfriend comes in three other colors and sizes, as pictured below.

This lilac silicone dildo came to me via Eden Fantasys. It's called Grrl Toyz Strap On Dong/Dildo. It's made by a major adult toy company called Topco Sales and is part of Eden's huge line of dildos.

MATERIAL: This is a thick, solid piece of medical grade silicone. It's flexable. Silicone is at the top of  body-safe toy material. It's 100% hypoallergenic, nontoxic, waterproof and boilable. It's recommended that you only use water-based lube with it. It washes very easily with very hot soapy water.

MEASUREMENTS: The shaft is 5 1/4" long. The thickest part of the head is just over 1 1/2" in diameter. The top of the shaft, right under the head, is the same size. The shaft thickens a bit more to over 1 1/2" and at its thickest part, right at the base, it's 1 3/4" in diameter. According to my scale, it weighs 7.5 oz.

PACKAGING: This comes in a resealable hard plastic package. You pull the top apart hard to open it, no scissors required, and it stays attached at the bottom. You can put the toy back inside and store it in it. Because silicone is such a good quality, and often pricey, material, you need to keep it protected.

WAYS TO USE IT: This toy is designed to be compatable with a harness, to be used as a strap-on dildo. I won't ever be using it that way. The base is domed a bit making it a suction cup and it has excellent suction. It should stick to any hard surface. I used it by putting it on the toilet lid and straddled it. If you're really short, you might want to try putting it on the side of the bathtub too. If you've got a kitchen chair with a hard flat surface, try using it that way. Because this has a flared base, it's safe for anal use.

THE VERDICT: Because of the thickness and the ability to use it hands-free on a hard surface, this is my second favorite dildo. When you raise up on it it stays put. Silicone is my favorite material for all the reasons stated above. This dildo is on the thick side so it's not for everyone.

The base of this was slightly too thick for me when I was sitting on it but I'm not complaining. The length was perfect for me. The toy is curved slightly but I didn't notice it at all.

Eden Fantasys has an amazing line of sex toys so go check them out! Same review can be found here.

This is from Babeland's line of silicone dildos. It's called Silk. The color is called purple haze and this color only comes in size large, which is the one I'm reviewing. It's made by a company called Tanus.

MATERIAL: This is made from a type of silicone called platinum. It has a nice sheen to it, a bit iridescent. It's incredibly slick when moisture's added to it, which is a plus. Silicone is a very body safe material, being hypoallergenic and nontoxic. It's nonporous. It washes very easily with hot soapy water and can be boiled because it's nonporuous. This toy is very flexable.

MEASURMENTS: I measured this myself and it has an insertable length of 6 3/4". The top 2 3/4" of the shaft is the thickest, having a diameter of just over 1 1/2". It then narrows a bit to a diameter of 1 1/2".

PACKAGING: The toy comes incased in a clear plastic container which is then placed inside another clear plastic box. It's what I call basic packaging.

DILDO: I was a bit nervous to use this and wondered if I'd taken on more than I could handle because the top part is pretty thick and insertion seemed like it would be uncomfortable at first. But when I added a bit of lube to the tip I realized how slick this platinum silicone gets and I had no problem with inserting it. I really like this material a lot, especially since it gets so slick when wet.

It has a round, flat base so you can straddle this by placing a small travel-size pillow between your legs on the floor. The pillow would hold the dildo in place as you moved up and down on it or just sat on it. You could also just use it while sitting on a chair that had no arms, like a kitchen table chair.

This paticular dildo comes in three sizes, with each size being a different color.

This G Spot Flower Vibrator came to me via It's from their line of G spot vibrators. It's made by a company called Doc Johnson.

MATERIAL: This is made from a material called TPE. It's a type of rubber and contains no latex. It's nontoxic and hypoallergenic. It's slightly porous so don't share it with anyone and clean it with very hot soapy water. If using it in the rectum, make sure to use a condom every time. The packaging says you can use silicone lube with it but from what I've read about TPE, you can only use water-based lube. This material feels like jelly and is very flexable and comfortable to use.

MEASUREMENTS: This is almost 9" long with 6 1/4" being insertable. The narrowest part is the tip, having a diameter of just under 1 1/4". Just below that, at the top of the shaft, is just under 1 1/2" in diameter. It thickens to just over 1 1/2" in diameter.

VIBRATOR: This uses two AA batteries, which aren't included. It has a turn dial on the side and can be controlled easily with your thumb while using it. The vibrations are pretty strong. If using the tip of this on your clit, I recommend using it on low speed. If trying for a G-spot orgasm, I recommend the highest speed.

I think it's curved perfectly to find the G spot. If you don't know how to find yours, turn the vibrator up on high, insert it all the way with the curve facing forward then pull it out until you think just a couple of inches are in. Slowly move it in and out very slowly but I recommend you just leave it in place most of the time until you have an orgasm. That way, the constant vibrations on the G spot will eventually cause you to have an orgasm...if you're lucky.

If this vibrator doesn't appeal to you, they have plenty more to chose from but chose your material wisely. They also have a blog where you can read toy reviews.

NUTRA SONIC ESSENTIAL BRUSH Professional Facial Cleansing System

THE UNIT: It's 7 1/4" long and is very comfortable to hold. With a brush and cover on it, it weighs 7.1 oz. The unit has to be charged for 24 hours before you can use it. I've been using mine for a full month. I use it about twice a week and it's still on it's initial charge. After it's fully charged, you don't need to store it on its base. I store the charger, cord and two other brushes inside the little bag that comes with it. I store the hand-held unit in a drawer when I'm not using it. It comes with a cover to protect the brush from getting mashed.

BRUSHES: It comes with three brushes, two of which are for the face alone: one for sensitive skin, one for normal skin, and a larger one for the body. I prefer the brush that's for normal skin. The sensitive skin brush seems to be a little too soft.

BAG: This comes with a silver metallic storage bag. It's 8" W x 6 1/2" H x 3 1/8" D. There's plenty of room inside to store everything.

HOW IT WORKS: The brush oscillates over 400 times per second. It moves so fast you can't really see it moving. It has four speeds: high, low, one just for the body and jitter mode. There's not much difference between them so I use them all. I like the jerky motion of the jitter mode so I've been using that one the most lately.

HOW TO USE IT: When you turn it on it's automatically on low speed. You can then choose from three other speeds. You wet your face, add your cleanser to both your face and brush and gently move it around without pressing it into your face. The spinning brush does all the work. Don't stand too close to the mirror because suds fly all over the place.

MY THOUGHTS: I love it. It's fun to use and you can see and feel results immediately. You can clean your face quickly, in under one minute, or you can take your time and spend a couple of minutes. It just depends on how sensitive your skin is. When you're rinsing your face off by splashing water on it and your hands touch your face, you can feel the smoothness right away.

I would recommend this to everyone. I have no complaints about it. You can buy it from Nutra Sonic's website but the cheapest I've found it online is at

You can watch a video on this on Youtube.

PUB. INFO: William Morrow, Nov. 2011
FORMAT: Hardcover 159 pages

From Publisher: Hi! My name is Kim (or the Treats Truck lady), and I love treats. I love them. A lot. And I’m very excited to share with you my favorite recipes for cookies, brownies, bars, cakes, pies, and specials from the truck. Mix and Match with your own touches as you wish! Bake for your friends and family! Neighbors! Coworkers! Classmates! Secret crush! Beloved great-aunt! (Or just for your own delight!)

CHOCOLATE CHIPPERS: This is your basic chocolate chip cookie. I made half the recipe, which made 26 and they turned out perfectly. They weren’t quite sweet enough so when I made them again I added an extra 2 T. of white sugar. This recipe is a keeper for me.

CHOCOLATE TRUCKERS: This is a chocolate sandwich cookie with a white cream filling. I cut way down on the cocoa powder, using just 3 T. instead of 16. Yes, you read that right. Unsweetened cocoa powder is very strong and I knew 3 T. would be plenty, and it was. I didn’t think to use extra flour in place of the absent cocoa powder so the cookies turned out a bit flatter than I liked. Instead of rolling the dough out and cutting out small cookies, I rolled the mixture into balls using a 1 t. measuring spoon. I ended up with about 33 sandwich cookies. I chose to use my own vanilla frosting recipe, which uses part margarine and part shortening, as I don’t like classic buttercream frosting, which is what the recipe in the book called for.

If you roll the dough into small balls instead of rolling the dough out, this is a very simple and easy recipe to work with. Next time I just have to increase the amount of flour to make up for lack of cocoa power I’ll be omitting and they should turn out less flat. This recipe is a keeper for me too.

SUGAR DOTS SUGAR COOKIES: This is a basic all butter sugar cookie recipe, pictured above as a sandwich cookie. Instead of rolling the dough out and cutting out cookies, I chose to roll the firm dough into small balls and flatten them with the bottom of a glass. Make sure you bake them until they’re a deep golden color around the edges. The cookies will be crunchy on the outside and softer in the middle. I thought they were a little too sweet so I’ll use 1/3 c. of sugar next time instead of 1/2 c. I’m not a big fan of an all butter sugar cookie but was impressed with the good flavor this one had. I made sandwich cookies out of this one and used my own white frosting recipe and added minced maraschino cherries to it. Next time I make these, I’ll not make sandwich cookies out of them.

OUR FAVORITE VANILLA CAKE: I made half this recipe and got 12 cupcakes. I followed the recipe exactly and added about 1/4 c. minced maraschino cherries to the batter. The cupcakes tasted OK but I didn’t like how heavy they were. I used my own recipe for white frosting.

I plan to make a few more things from the book. I like the smaller size of this hardcover. It’s heavy but not bulky. I’d have preferred more photos but felt it had a decent amount. All recipes were very easy to follow.

Catagories are: Cookies, Brownies, Bars and Squares, Cakes and Cupcakes, Pies. There’s also a recipe index in the back. I’m happy with this book and would recommend it it others.

Sex-A-Peel Vibrator/Dildo

This little cutie is called Sex-A-Peel. It's part of their long line of vibrators. The toy is made by a French company called Love to Love.

Material: This is a dildo that's made from solid silicone. Silicone is at the top of the list as far as safe materials go. It's not harmful to your body, it's nonporous, very smooth and can be boiled to disinfect it. If using lubrication with it, it must be water-based. Wash with hot soapy water.

Measurements: It's 7" long. Starting at about 1" below the tip, it's just over 1 1/4" in diameter. Measuring right in the middle, at the tickest part, is just over 1 1/2" in diameter. When you see it in person, you might be put off by how thick it is, and it is thick. That probably won't be a problem because it has such a narrow tip, which makes insertion very easy.

Packaging: This comes packaged in a plain clear bag with no way to seal it for storage. I'm storing mine in a quart size Ziplock bag.

Pros: I really like the material and because of that and the incredible thickness of the dildo, it's my favorite so far, from all I own. It also has a pointy tip that can be used to stimulate your clitoris. One neat thing I tried was while it was inserted, I took the very tip of the dildo, where you're supposed to peel the banana, were it a real one, and rubbed it against my clit.

Cons: The vibrating bullet that you insert into the side of the dildo doesn't do much. It hardly vibrates when inserted into the slot provided, and the vibrations don't travel upward, where you need them to. It was almost impossible for me to get the bullet out of the slot. It does come with three watch batteries.

THE PARLOR by N.T. Morley

PUB. INFO: Fanny Press, 2009
GENRE: Contemporary Erotica/BDSM

From Publisher: Kathryn accepts her dream proposal: a contract for a year of sexual servitude in the mansion of the gorgeous Sarah and the mysterious John. Introduced to the pleasures and pains of severe bondage and discipline, Kathryn discovers that John and Sarah intend to place every portion of her anatomy available at the service of their guests, friends, and co-conspirators. She is given again and again to faceless men and women, pierced to display her submission, and punished exquisitely for the least transgression—or merely to amuse her owners. Before long it becomes clear that far more than mere submission is taking place—Sarah is far more than a mortal dominant, and the darkest embrace awaits those who offer her absolute submission. Can Kathryn resist her desire to give herself over to total pleasure and unending surrender? Or will she resist Sarah’s touch and become an enemy of this powerful creature?

MY THOUGHTS: I didn’t like anything at all about this story. I learned nothing about what led Kathryn into this lifestyle. The story is predominantly lesbian with just a couple sex scenes with men. Not at all what I like. Way too much vagina for my liking. Too much ‘punishment’ with gigantic rubber dildos by sadistic lesbians. There was no reason for this story to have been published.

I’m assuming this author is female. I have one more book by her to read and I won’t read her ever again after that.

PUB. INFO: Fanny Press, 2009
FORMAT: Print and Ebook
SETTING: England, not sure when
HEROINE: Cecilia Roswell

From publisher: Virginal 18-year-old ingénue Cecilia Roswell is the illegitimate child of disgraced noblewoman Mary Drew, who has since been married off to the much older Lord Arthur Drew. Cecilia is shocked one afternoon to see her mother, disgraced noblewoman Mary Drew, misbehaving quite shamefully with a mysterious visitor, Mr. Beckwith. Cecilia is even more shocked when her stepfather, Lord Arthur Drew, invites Mr. Beckwith to stay at the estate for a few days. Before long, it becomes clear that Cecilia herself is the target of Mr. Beckwith’s interests, and that he intends to train her as a sexual servant through a scandalous regime of spanking, exposure, and steadily increasing erotic humiliation. As Cecilia slowly discovers her craving for these very treatments, she realizes that the life planned for her is not that of the hidden child of a noble family, for whom she is a mere inconvenience—but that of the submissive slave of a scoundrel who will stop at nothing to inveigle her into his web of sexual indulgence.

MY THOUGHTS: This is a short story, 155 pages, about a girl’s violent sexual awakening by ‘the visitor’, aka Mr. Beckwith. It was very heavy on beatings and the sex was very explicit. I’d have prefered the violence to be a little less severe. I wish Cecilia’s mother had been left out of the story. I was slightly creeped out by her participation. All that went down couldn’t and wouldn’t have happened without the mother’s help.

This adorable glass dildo came to me via Eden Fantasys. It's called Pink Swirl G and is designed to hit your G spot. It's made by a company called SSA Glass.

MATERIAL: This is made from Pyrex glass. Glass is a very safe material and not harmful to your body. It's hypoallergenic, nonporous and easy to clean. Any type of lubrication is safe to use with it.

MEASUREMENTS: According to my own measurements, this has a total length of about 6 1/4". Not counting the ball at the end, this has an insertable length of 5". The thickest part of the head has a diameter of 1 1/2". The shaft is much slender, being just over 1" in diameter.

PACKAGING: The dildo came to me wrapped in a piece of bubble wrap. That was inside of a red, non-padded red velvet pouch. The pouch didn't come packaged in its own box/package so I'm not sure how it was stored in the warehouse or how it's stored in stores. The pouch with dildo inside was just laying in the bottom of the box that it was mailed to me in and was covered with packaging paper. Fortunately it wasn't damaged in transit.

PROS: Glass is very slick when moisture is added to it and it's very easy and simple to clean with hot soapy water. You can also warm the glass up quicky under warm water or by using the warmth of your hands.

CONS: I don't think I'm a fan of the head of this being much larger than the shaft. I'd much rather have it the other way around; narrower head, thicker shaft. It would be more pleasureable to me that way.

They have a large selection of dildos and sex toys that are made from many different materials so if glass isn't your thing, have a look around.

If you click this link you can watch a video on their site of someone discussing the toy. Just scroll down the page some.
